Rope training at the Hölstein crane site
On April 29th 2019, members of the PPE group participated in a one-day rope training at the crane facility at Hölstein. Sebastian Wolf (ETH Zürich) instructed the technical and scientific PPE members working at our crane site in basic roping technique and how to exit the crane gondola in case of emergency. Highlight of the day was rappelling/abseiling 45 m from the gondola - bug fun!!
