New paper in New Phytologist on tree recovery from drought
Matthias Arend and colleagues from Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences SLU published a letter in New Phytologist that sheds new light on the recovery of trees from drought. They summarize in this publication recent advances in this research field; and based on this, they develop a conceptual framework of tree resilience and acclimation to drought. This conceptual framework provides new ideas for the interpretation of legacy effects of drought on tree growth and tree function.
