First ISJRP project meeting held at Pondicherry University, India
With some delay due to the pandemic we were now able to hold the first physical meeting of the SNF (Switzerland) and DBT (India) jointly funded ISJRP project "Using millet-legume model intercropping systems to establish mycorrhiza-facilitated bioirrigation in dryland agriculture”.
Although the project has been on the way for some time, projects partners from Switzerland and India were finally able to meet at Pondicherry University for the first time to discuss first results and plan the upcoming field season. The project team was also hosted by the honorable vice chancellor of Pondicherry University Prof. Gurmeet Singh for a stimulating project opening ceremony. The event made it into the local news.
