2019 PPE Team Retreat - August 28-30
It has become a good tradition of our group to meet once a year for several days at the ALPFOR research station in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We used the 2019 retreat to look back at our achievements of the last year and outlined our ambitions in science and teaching for the coming year. We also revised our group guidelines on how we manage everyday life at the institute and at our research sites. As in every retreat, we used the opportunity with everyone being around to plan and organize the upcoming block course ‘Plant Biology’. Most importantly, the retreat allowed us to spend leisure time together, either hiking to the headwaters of the Reuss River, or eating cheese fondue or the famous Tiefenbacher Älplermagronen.
