Research interest

My diverse educational background has left me with an equally diverse biological interest, but I am mostly intrigued by species ecology and ecosystem functioning. At the Physiological Plant Ecology research group, my work will focus on identifying processes that shape the ╬┤2H values of organic compounds in plants through experiments with different plant species under controlled environmental conditions. Understanding these processes can aid in unraveling the metabolic response(s) of plants to global environmental change.
